The Story

I COULDN’T FIND THE HAT I WANTED AT A PRICE I COULD JUSTIFY. SO I LEARNED TO MAKE ONE.

Born and raised in the coastal mountains of Southern Humboldt County, California, I went looking for a hat to replace my Stetson. What I found were prices that didn’t make sense for what I wanted.

I began buying hat bodies, tools, and equipment and teaching myself the craft. One felt became another. Each hat taught me something new.

Today, Hat’s By HumBlunt exists to bring that same experience to other people: a hat that looks good, feels right, is made with care, and is priced with real people in mind.

Once your deposit is submitted, you’ll tell us a little more about your style, sizing, and inspiration. Jeromy will connect with you directly to go over the details and get your custom build underway.
